People aren't aware that there are many alternative careers in tech that one can pursue. One such career is No-Code development!
I've had so much fun working with No-Code tools to build this newsletter and the PH tech events calendar. But not everyone is savvy enough to leverage No-Code solutions, so make no mistake about it, there's a market for such skills!
One of the mentors, Grahssel Dungca, is a good friend and he's passionate about pushing No-Code into mainstream adoption here in the Philippines. The program fee is minuscule compared to the value you will get out of it, including the network you'll build. So this is a recommend for me!
Disclaimer: I won't get any share from the course's proceeds, and they certainly didn't pay me to put in the reco. 😉

No, this has got nothing to do with a certain celebrity couple in Siargao.
I had a series of posts on the country's agricultural dilemma, which sparked conversations ranging from guarded optimism vs. defeatist pessimism to the value of words vs. concrete action. The conversations even continued into the wee hours of the morning. 🤣
If you've been a long time follower, you know I love engaging in these types of discourse, as long as everyone stays respectful.
Here are the posts in case you missed them:
- Repost of the Philippine Star article
- Repost of an ABS-CBN article
- Optimism vs. Pessimism
- Words vs. Actions
Eager to hear from you too! Let me know your 2 cents!
Yikes. DeepSeek apparently failed all of the security tests they threw at it.
But anyway, this is one of the fast-emerging and arguably among the most exciting alternative careers in tech that you can also explore: AI security, a cross between AI and cybersecurity! It's so new that few--if not none at all--universities have a formal course for it.
The age of domain synthesis is upon us.
Wow. Ambitious project from DICT and mWell. Curious to see how these drones could evade thieves, vandals, and extreme weather. Especially since timely access to medicine can spell the difference between life and death, I sincerely hope they fare better than their US counterparts, but something tells me they won't. (Yes, even optimists can have pessimism too, y'know.)
I know there's a lot of drone enthusiasts in the Philippines. Could be a potential career as well?
