News and Updates
This was the talk of the town last week!
βMRWN is a cybersecurity content creator that creates videos in which he hacks and exposes online scam operations. He gets access into their CCTVs, computers, and even cellphones. He often targets Indian scammers, and was quite surprised that the Philippines caught his attention. The original exposΓ© video has since been taken down, due to a defamation complaint, which I can only presume is from the company that got exposed. π
I hope this can serve as a warning to other such operations here in the Philippines.
This also shows how ingenious Filipinos can be. If only we can direct it into more positive things.

Meanwhile, open sourcing WSL will definitely speed up making Linux more seamless with Windows.
Although Microsoft has really gone a long way in embracing the open source community, there are some who say they're doing this to profit off "free labor" (they did lay off a lot of engineers recently). I still think it's a net positive for everyone.
If you're still at a loss with how to effectively integrate AI with your workflow, this is a good read. The author sums up "chain-of-vibes":
This mirrors how you might work with a junior engineer β you collaboratively develop an overall approach, then they tackle each step independently, periodically checking back in for code reviews to ensure theyβre on the right track.
